Mentioning that he aims to transform his portraits into exhibitions, Simay Kışlaoğlu said, “I have no difficulty in delivering my timeless designs, which I developed as an artist, to fashion lovers. However, it is not so easy for a painter to present his works to art lovers. It expects to be supported by people and brands. For example, Marilyn Monroe and James Dean drawings, which Andy Warhol transformed into pop-art in the 90s, were revived thanks to Versace. In order for similar initiatives to occur in Turkey, more exhibitions must be organized to support young artists. The support we give to art and artists can accelerate the birth of new brands that provide added value to our country.”
