Who is Hincal Uluc? Where is he from and why did he get sick?

Hıncal Uluç is a Turkish journalist and writer. His father, Fuat Uluç, who was an officer, II. He was raised by his grandmother and aunt until he was three years old, as he was on duty on the Bulgarian border where German tanks were maneuvering during World War II. Later, when his father was appointed to Çaldıran, the family was reunited. Then, due to appointments, he started primary school in Bandırma and then finished it in Kilis in 1950. He started secondary school in Antakya in 1952 and completed the rest of his education at Ankara Kurtuluş High School.

He remained in Ankara until 1980. First, he was enrolled in the Faculty of Letters of Istanbul University because of his enthusiasm for learning English. He returned to Ankara at the end of a semester. A year later, he won the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University. Meanwhile, the Hürriyet Party, which was founded by a group that broke away from the Democrat Party, established a media organ called Yenigün and brought Cihat Baban to its head. With the support of Mehmet Ali Kislali, at the age of 17, he started to prepare the sports page of the newspaper, which had six pages due to martial law.

Thus, he stepped into journalism. He works with names such as Oktay Kurtböke, Güneş Tecelli, Başkurt Okaygün, Kurthan Fişek, Güngör Sayarı, Ercan Tan. He graduated in 1964 with his friends such as Kutlu Aktaş and Burhan Özfatura. A year later, he did his military service for two years at the Mamak Combat School. In 1967, when he returned from the military, he started to work in Yankı, which was started by the old Yenigün team, especially Mehmet Ali Kışlalı. Since Oktay Kurtböke is the editor-in-chief of Cumhuriyet newspaper, he started to write sports articles two days a week, working in parallel with Uluç Yankı.

He came to Istanbul in 1980 to publish a magazine with Ercan Arıklı, owner of Gelişim Publishing. Then, with the invitation of Zafer Mutlu, he started writing in Sabah in 1990. He was shot in the heel as a result of an armed attack in 1994. He was sentenced to one month's imprisonment and 2004 YTL in 2008 for the article he wrote about the Antalya Governor Alaaddin Yüksel in 1. He is still a writer in Sabah and a commentator on 898'a program published in a Haber. After Defne Joy Foster's death, Hıncal Uluç filed a lawsuit for compensation on her article titled “What kind of neighborhood pressure is this?...” and was sentenced to compensation.

Why did Hıncal Uluç get sick?

Announcing the development on his Twitter account, Tahir Kum said, “I called my dear master Öcal Uluç, my brother, on the occasion of the holiday… His voice sounded very bad… The reason; Brother Hıncal has been taken to intensive care… May Allah grant him a speedy recovery.”

Hıncal Uluç wrote the Turkish lyrics of Jose Feliciano's song "Once There Was A Love", which is on the B side of the 1973, when Lale Akat, one of the powerful voices of Turkish pop music, released her first record from the 1 Number Plak company founded by Ali Kocatepe in 45. The Turkish name of the song was "Our Love O". On the A side of the record, "We are like this", the Turkish arrangement of Donna Hightower's song "The World Today Is A Mess", was written by Ali Kocatepe. In 1985, Özdemir Erdoğan and Sezen Aksu duet "One little love". He wrote the song of the song "Tale" with Sezen Aksu.

Hincal Uluc Albums

Hıncal Uluç has released two music albums consisting of the songs he chose. In 2008, "Hincal's Elections" and on January 22, 2009, "Hincal's Elections 2" albums were released.
