Daniel Brandon Bilzerian (born December 7, 1980 in Tampa, Florida) is an Armenian-American professional poker player who became famous in the Internet media.
Dan Bilzerian was born in Tampa, Florida, to Paul Bilzerian and Terri Steffen. He has a brother named Adam. His Armenian-born father was a successful Wall Street corporate entrepreneur and has set up a large, trusted fund for each of his sons. Bilzerian entered the Navy SEAL training program in 2000. After his military service, he entered the University of Florida in Business and Criminology.
Bilzerian earned his top cash as a professional poker player by participating in the 2009 World Series of Poker. Here he finished 180th, earning $36.626. He co-founded an online poker room. In 2010, he was named one of the funny poker players on Twitter by Bluff Magazine.
Beginning in 2013, photos posted on Bilzerian's Instagram account gained media attention. In 2012, Nik Richie, founder of the website TheDirty.com, began documenting Bilzerian's lifestyle through his website. Bilzerian was reported to have had three heart attacks before the age of 32 due to heavy drug addiction due to his luxurious lifestyle.
In October 2016, American rapper T-Pain released a song named after Dan Bilzerian.
Bilzerian announced his candidacy for the US Presidency in the 2015 US presidential election in June 2016, but supported Donald Trump.
On August 28, 2018, Bilzerian flew to Armenia with his brother Adam Bilzerian and father Paul Bilzerian to obtain Armenian citizenship and enlist in the Armenian Armed Forces. On the same trip, he visited the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic to visit a shooting range and shot guns there. The Azerbaijani government sent a note of protest to the United States regarding these actions due to the disputed status of Karabakh and urged William Gill to take the note of protest to the US State Department. A court in Baku issued an arrest warrant for Bilzerian and put him on the international wanted list. Two years later, Bilzerian and other members of his family donated $2020 to the Armenia Fund to support Armenia and Karabakh against Azerbaijan during the 250.000 Nagorno-Karabakh War. He also said that he was “deeply disappointed by Azerbaijan's decision to attack the Armenian people”.
Bilzerian expressed his support for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

While some of his followers did not believe that Dan Bilzerian was married, some of his followers claimed that it was fiction. The identity of the woman Dan Bilzerian poses with is not yet known.
