The fixtures shooting ceremony was attended by TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi, TFF Deputy Presidents İbrahim Burkay, Murat Aksu, Yusuf Günay, Yalçın Orhan, Members of the Board of Directors and Executive Board Müslüm Özmen and Ali Yavaşmez, Board Members Erman Kalkandelen, Hamit Altıntop, İdil Karademirlidağ Suher, Ramazan Üçdan, Talat Papatya, Cengiz Erdem, General Secretary Kadir Kardaş, National Team Coach Stefan Kuntz, Super League club presidents and representatives, coaches, captains and guests attended.

Mehmet Büyükekşi: “We want to increase the value of the Super League”
Mehmet Büyükekşi, President of the Turkish Football Federation, in his speech during the fixture, underlined that as TFF, they took very important steps in a short time. President Büyükekşi said, “We came together to determine the fixture of the Spor Toto Super League 2022-2023 season, which is eagerly awaited by all of us, especially our football fans. As you know, as the new management of TFF, we took office on June 16, we have been at work for exactly 18 days. However, we have taken very important steps in a short time.” said.
Chairman Mehmet Büyükekşi continued as follows: “First of all, I would like to briefly share these works with you. We immediately implemented the 6 main issues that await urgent solutions, both before taking office and according to our previous studies and these determinations, without wasting any time. If I need to talk briefly; 1-We decided to continue the practice of foreign football players in the Spor Toto Super League for one year. In addition, our Super League clubs will be able to add three players under the age of 21 who have been national 10 times to their teams. 2-We brought a new regulation to club spending limits. 3- We signed the contract by completing the broadcast tender, which had become gangrenous for eight months, in a very short time. 4- In transfer registration, we extended the exemption from SGK and Tax debts for this period. 5- We decided to establish a Reserve League. 6-We lifted the travel ban and allowed the number of guest spectators from 10 percent to 30 percent. We are especially working on solution-oriented works, I hope we will complete our boards and MHK works this week and share them with the public.”
Emphasizing that they want to increase the value of the Super League, TFF President Büyükekşi said, “We know that if we increase the quality and brand value of our league, it will be much easier for us to reach our goals. As TFF, we have set very important goals in this regard. First of all, we have studies on digitalization. We will take important steps on issues that have been a need for years and waiting for urgent solutions. In particular, we are working on new projects that will add value to the Super League. We are carrying out many studies to increase the awareness and number of views of the Super League in the world. Our official broadcaster has Super League views in 105 countries. But we set a new goal for our league to be broadcast in 150 countries at the live broadcast signing ceremony. This number is really important. We wish to increase this number. Because beINSPORTS is a global brand and an international value in football broadcasting. We are working on how we can create new resources for our clubs together with our projects in different fields.” used the phrase.
President Mehmet Büyükekşi, who also thanked the artist Göksel, who participated in the fixture shooting, said, “One of our very important projects is to give pre-match concerts... I was the president of an Anatolian club, Gaziantep Football Club, in the past, and I especially experienced the low number of spectators. That's why we want to increase the number of spectators and revenues by doing different activities. As the starting point of this project, I would like to thank our esteemed artist Göksel, who honored our fixture shooting by being here today, for his participation. Emphasizing that they want to create a new culture with the new season, TFF President Büyükekşi said, “We aim for a football climate where more of our women come to the matches and where the beauties of football and the quality of football are spoken, not our referees. For this, we will have an understanding that gives a premium to Fair Play, gentlemanly behavior and good actions. As TFF, we always support the beautiful game. I fully believe that all our clubs in the Super League will act in the same direction as the TFF regarding Fair Play. There is a great honor in the victory achieved as a result of a fair sense of sport. In this direction, it is inevitable for every club to adopt the concept of Fair Play as their own values. For this reason, I believe that they will support all kinds of initiatives to increase the value of Spor Toto Super League, especially to create an environment of Fair Play and trust. I think that the League Coordination Board we will establish will undertake an important mission in this regard. A member of the Association of Clubs will be a member of the commission that will be sent to the penalty board, especially in the fixture draw. I always mentioned that we will be transparent. We will take the first step of this here. In summary; I hope in the new season, everything will be very different. And we will achieve this together with you.” used the phrases.
President Mehmet Büyükekşi, who also commemorated the late Hasan Doğan, the former president of the Football Federation, said, “The understanding of trust identified with the TFF during the late Hasan Doğan era will be the greatest achievement of the new era in football. On this occasion, we commemorate our late President Hasan Doğan, who we lost on July 5, 2008, who left important traces in Turkish football and who was an important guide for us, with respect and mercy on the 14th anniversary of his death. I wish good luck to everyone for the 2022-2023 Spor Toto Super League shooting, which we will be holding soon, and I offer my respects.” He ended his speech with his words.
Spor Toto Super League will start with matches to be played on 5, 6, 7 and 8 August 2022. The season will end on May 28, 2023. Super League will be suspended on 21 November due to the FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar between 18 November and 2022 December 13.
TFF Match Planning Manager Besim Yalçın gave technical information at the ceremony. The ceremony ended after a gift was presented to Göksel to commemorate the day and a souvenir photo was taken with the TFF Board of Directors, the club president and representatives.
