Solar-based renewable energy systems, whose area does not exceed 125 square meters for the needs of agricultural irrigation systems, will be exempt from building permit and occupancy permit if they are made with metal construction.
Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change “Regulation on Amending the Development Regulation of Unplanned Areas” was published in today's issue of the Official Gazette.
According to the statement made by the Ministry regarding the change, these areas can be processed on the existing maps or cadastral maps by obtaining the opinion of the relevant institution, as in the determination of agriculture, forest, pasture and protected areas for the determination of military prohibition and security zones.
For the needs of buildings that can be built in and around the village settlement area and in non-residential areas within the scope of this regulation, it will not be necessary to obtain a license in solar-based renewable energy systems applications, provided that they do not exceed the eaves boundaries and adhere to the architectural appearance. However, in these applications, studies and projects will be examined by the administration authorized to issue the license, and the responsibility of the construction will belong to the architects and engineers, who are the authors and scientifically responsible.
Solar-sourced renewable energy systems, which will be built for the needs of agricultural irrigation systems and whose area does not exceed 125 square meters, will also be exempt from building permits and occupancy permits, provided that they are made with metal construction without concrete foundation, after obtaining the appropriate opinion of the relevant agriculture and forestry directorate. In these structures, studies and projects will be examined by the authorized administration.
Quick license to safety and security
The conditions for obtaining licenses for structures that will be built in rural areas and non-residential areas, which are confidential in terms of the security and safety of the state, and the Turkish Armed Forces, Coast Guard and Gendarmerie General Commands, and the General Directorate of Security, have been facilitated. Licenses can be issued quickly if they are notified and approved that all responsibilities belong to their institutions, by complying with the zoning status, floor layout, front line, construction depth and total construction square meters obtained from the relevant administrations.
