Mercedes-Benz Türk Completed the First Half of 2022 at the Top in Truck Product Group

Being one of the important truck production bases of Daimler Truck with the Aksaray Truck Factory, which opened its doors in 1986, and producing at world standards, Mercedes-Benz Türk continued its undisputed market leadership in the truck product group in the first half of 2022.

In the first 6 months of the year, the company sold a total of 1.843 vehicles, 4.050 trucks and 5.893 tractors, to the Turkish domestic market.

Alper Kurt, Mercedes-Benz Turkish Truck Marketing and Sales Director; “In the first half of 2022, we increased our truck sales in the Turkish domestic market by 8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. In this period, when we reached a sales figure of 5.893 units, we once again succeeded in being the leader of the Turkish truck market.”

Mercedes-Benz Türk, which had a successful period in exports, exported 2022 of every 2 trucks it produced in the first half of 1 and sent over 6.500 trucks to European countries.

Being one of the important truck production bases of Daimler Truck AG and producing at world standards, Mercedes-Benz Türk completed the first half of 2022 in the truck product group with significant success. Producing state-of-the-art vehicles at the Aksaray Truck Factory, the company continues its uninterrupted contribution to the country's economy with the revenue it generates from exports, as well as its success in the domestic market.

Mercedes-Benz Türk, which sold a total of 1.843 vehicles, including 4.050 trucks and 5.893 tractor trucks, to the Turkish domestic market in the first half of the year, maintained its traditional leadership in the Turkish market in the said period.

Reflecting its successful momentum in the domestic market to exports, the company exported a total of 6 trucks and tow trucks produced at the Aksaray Truck Factory in the first 6.509 months of the year to European countries.

Mercedes-Benz Türk Aksaray Truck Factory, which produces at high standards and quality, produced 10 out of every 6 trucks in Turkey in the first half of the year, and produced 10 out of every 7 trucks exported from Turkey.

In the first half of this year, our company, which has become the leader among the companies that make the most patent applications in Turkey, transfers the technologies developed in our country to Mercedes-Benz brand trucks produced all over the world. In addition to all these, we continue our social benefit programs for a sustainable future. Our truck factory, which has changed the fate of Aksaray since the day it opened its doors, is now changing the face of the city with its new project. We are very happy and proud to have planted our first saplings within the scope of the Mercedes-Benz Turkish Memorial Forest project, which we started with 10.000 saplings in this direction.”

In the light truck segment, our Atego models, which are heavily used in urban distribution, short-haul transportation and public service applications, also have a wide usage area.”
