Karaismailoğlu, who later attended the Akçatepe-1 Tunnel light-seeing ceremony, said, “I wish you all well with the landslides, floods and floods that occurred due to the rains in Altınordu, Thursday, Fatsa, Gürgentepe and Çamaş districts of Ordu on 18-19 July. After the damage caused by the flood, we worked non-stop 7/24; We provided transportation as soon as possible. Our highway teams quickly completed the dirt cleaning activities on the roads, and thus we put all the roads back into the service of our citizens.”

WE INVESTED OVER 1 TRILLION 606 BILLION LIRA IN TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE

Emphasizing that this project, which includes tunnels and roads, is extremely important in terms of relieving the transportation of Ordu and surrounding provinces, Karaismailoğlu continued his speech as follows;

“When our work is completed, it will further increase the safety of life and property in traffic; We will also make a great contribution to the tourism, trade and socio-economic development of the region. Most importantly, we will support the economy of our country by saving time and fuel. With our strategic transportation and communication investments, we make significant contributions to production, employment, trade and tourism in our country. In the last 20 years, we have invested more than 1 trillion 606 billion liras in our country's transportation and communication infrastructure. Highways take the lion's share of these investments, with a rate of 61 percent and an amount of 972 billion liras. Thus, we raise our country among the leading economies of the world and carry our nation to the place it deserves. Together, we are happy to see the fruits of our large transportation and communication investments, which we have implemented in line with our investment, production, employment and export-oriented growth strategy. our country; We have transformed it into an international corridor in land, air, rail and sea routes between Asia, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, the Caucasus and the Northern Black Sea countries. We put giant transportation projects such as Marmaray, Eurasia Tunnel, Istanbul Airport, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Line, Filyos Port, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Osmangazi Bridge, 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, Izmir-Istanbul, Ankara-Niğde and Northern Marmara Highways into the service of our people. ”

EVERYONE MUST FUSE THEIR RESPONSIBILITY, THIS COUNTRY DOESN'T HAVE A MINUTE TO LOSE

Noting that the length of the divided road has been increased from 6 thousand kilometers to 28 thousand 700 kilometers, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said, “I would like to emphasize that our 2023 target is 29 thousand 500 kilometers. In 2035, we will increase our divided road length to over 36 thousand kilometers. In 2035, we will increase our highway length to over 8 kilometers. It works like ants; we cross the mountains that do not pass on the highways with tunnels. As a result of this determination, we increased the tunnel length from 300 kilometers to 50 kilometers. In 661, we will increase the tunnel length to 2023 kilometers. We cross deep valleys with bridges and viaducts. We increased our bridges and viaducts of 720 kilometers to 311 kilometers. In 730, we will reach 2023 kilometers. For us, 'no stop, keep going.' We see the situation of those who do not do their duty properly, those who do not serve our citizens, and those who go on vacation instead of serving. We already knew that they could not serve this country! Here I repeat once again; Everyone must fulfill their responsibilities. This country, this nation, does not have a minute to lose," he said.

WE DON'T STOP, WE WILL NOT STOP

Karaismailoğlu, who said, “We did not stop, we will not stop”, increased the competitiveness and quality of life of Turkey; stated that they will continue to work for a safe, economical, comfortable, environmentally friendly, uninterrupted, balanced and sustainable transportation system. The number of passengers at our Ordu-Giresun Airport, which is the first airport of Turkey to be built on the sea in 2015, and the achievement of Turkish engineering, has increased exponentially. One of our important highway investments in Ordu is the Ordu Ring Road Project, where the Akçatepe-1 Tunnel, where we see the light, is located. The project cost of our Ordu Ring Road Project; 6 billion 210 million liras. In our project with a divided road standard of 21,4 kilometers in length; There are 9 double tube tunnels with a total length of 492 thousand 6 meters, 3 double bridges with a length of 676 thousand 11 meters, 414 single bridges with a length of 5 meters and crossroads with different levels.

In this section, there is the University Differential Level Junction. With the Ordu Ring Road Project, we are taking our Black Sea Coastal Road out of the city of Ordu. In this way, both transit passes will be relieved and the burden of urban traffic will be lightened. Daily vehicle traffic in Ordu city center reaches 60 thousand. With the Ordu Ring Road, the 40-minute travel time will be reduced to 15 minutes. With the completion of the project; there will be 6 thousand 248 tons of emission reduction in one year. Again, we will save 198 million liras annually, 31 million liras from time and 229 million liras from fuel. Transportation between the east and west of the city will be faster, more convenient and comfortable. In addition, we will be able to reach important points such as Ordu University as well as our City Hospital and Airport much more easily. May our Ordu Ring Road, which we will open completely in 2023, be beneficial for both Ordu and our region. We do every kilometer of road, every port, every airport, every meter of fiber optic cable we make, with great determination and effort. For us, 'service to the public is service to God.' We don't have time for daily conflicts, polemics and gossip, vicious discussions! We spend all our time, mind and sweat to serve you," he concluded.
