In this context, according to the statement made by Anadolu Shipyard, the shipyard signed a contract with an unnamed African country for the supply of 2 Landing Ships. It was stated that the ships would be delivered within 2 years.

22 landing crafts were built for the Qatar Navy in 4 months

The orders of the Qatar Navy to Anadolu Shipyard in order to strengthen the inventory of landing ships have been successfully delivered to the Qatar Navy. Deliveries were made at the beginning of July with a ceremony under the auspices of a 20-person delegation.

Within the scope of the order, 1 landing ships in total, including 2 Fast Amphibious Ship (LCT), 1 Mechanized Landing Ships (LCM) and 4 Vehicle and Personnel Landing Ship (LCVP), are the same as the ceremony held at Anadolu Shipyard's Tuzla campus. It was delivered to the Qatar Navy at the same time. The ships, which were built over a 22-month period, will sail to Qatar after 6 weeks of personnel training.

Offshore Patrol Ship from Anadolu Shipyard to Qatar

Previously, Qatar had ordered 2 offshore patrol vessels from Anadolu Shipyard. Within the scope of the said order, the Al Doha and Al Shamal ships were built in 36 months and successfully delivered to the Qatar Navy.
