Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Gulf Cup Rowing Races were held on the coastal part of Sekapark Kite Hill on Saturday, July 2, in cooperation with Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and Turkish Rowing Federation. 13 athletes participated in the races, where registrations were obtained through the Turkish Rowing Federation, which consists of 8 clubs and 232 categories. The teams that ranked first in each category were awarded a medal, and the team that finished first in each category was awarded the Kocaeli Gulf Cup. According to the competition instructions of the Turkish Rowing Federation, the teams ranked in the top six received 12, 10, 7, 5, 3, 2 points, respectively. Izmit Sümerspor Club, which came first in every category, won the Gulf Cup.
