In the workshop and living center, all of which are designed to facilitate the daily life and working style of individuals with mild intellectual disabilities, young people primarily receive special vocational training; then they start working in protected workshops prepared for them.

Emphasizing that the project contributes to the social life as well as the working life of the youth, Ahmet Çetin, Chairman of the Board of Çetin Group, said the following about the workshops: “As Çetin Group, we are very happy to have opened the first workshop in the Mentally Handicapped Workplace Workshop and Life Center. Corporate social responsibility projects have always been our focus, and we are proud to have brought our bright young people into employment. Thanks to the training given, our young people with mild mental disabilities can become one of our production areas, Çemobsan Metal ve Plastik San. A.Ş. will be able to perform some assembly operations of the connection equipment. Here, not only a job opportunity is created for them, but also the opportunity to socialize. For this reason, we find the workshop we opened very valuable and we hope that its examples in the private sector will increase.”
