ACI EUROPE; June 2022 published the air traffic report covering the second quarter and first half of the year.
According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked first in the list of top 2022 airports in Europe with 5 million 996 thousand 71 passengers served in June 10. Istanbul Airport maintained its leadership among the top 2021 airports in Europe with an increase of 115,4% in passenger traffic compared to the same period of 5. Thus, Istanbul Airport reached almost all of its pre-pandemic passenger volume.
Antalya Airport, on the other hand, took the 2022th place in the list of top 3 airports in Europe with 911 million 395 thousand 10 passengers hosted in June 8.
However, airports in Turkey showed a recovery of 2022% in the first half of 96,3 compared to the pandemic period.
