IMM beaches, which offer daily vacation opportunities, will host enjoyable sports activities during the Eid al-Adha. Istanbulites, who want to cool off during the holiday, will enjoy the beach with many beach sports from football to badminton and tennis, while enjoying the sea as of 11 July.
Sports events organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will continue to add fun and action to the beaches during the Eid al-Adha. Beach sports activities held throughout the summer at the points served by IMM will host Istanbulites who want to enjoy the sea as of 11 July.
7 beaches in 11 districts will be colored with activities organized in cooperation with IMM Youth and Sports Directorate and Sports Istanbul. The activities, accompanied by 22 sports trainers, will continue 11 days a week until September 6.
IT WILL CONTINUE ALL SUMMER
With the programs of IMM that will continue throughout the summer, Istanbulites enter into a sweet competition in bocce (iron ball game), beach volleyball, beach football, beach tennis, football foot tennis, coordination track and badminton branches, which are among the most common beach sports. Various gifts (sea ball, children's play bucket and frisbee) are given to children to encourage them to participate in sports during activities that relieve stress.
The events, which are held in order to allow Istanbulites to spare more time for sports, to increase the number of physical activities and to provide more areas for sports during the summer, are organized in a way that will appeal to citizens of all age groups.
