It has been reported that the Chinese and Pakistani navies will hold a joint exercise off Shanghai in mid-July.
Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy Press SözcüSü Liu Wensheng, in his statement, stated that the exercise called “Sea Guard-2” will include activities such as responding to threats at sea and supporting malfunctioning ships.
Underlining that the exercise, which will be held in line with the annual cooperation plan between the navies of the two countries, does not target third parties, Liu added that the exercise aims to reinforce cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries under all circumstances.
