Izmir Metropolitan Municipality built a highway bridge over Bergama Ilıca Stream to make vehicle and pedestrian transportation safe. The bridge, which was put into use, cost 12,5 million liras.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its investments in 30 districts with the aim of increasing the quality of life within the city limits. Worn out bridges and culverts damaged by floods are renewed, making transportation safe, convenient and comfortable. Finally, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality built a 3-span, 72-meter-long highway bridge over Ilıca Stream, one of the important transportation axes of Fevzipaşa Neighborhood in Bergama. The teams of the Department of Science Affairs, with the highway bridge connecting Fevzipaşa District and İslamsaray District, and the pedestrian and pavement arrangement, eliminated the crossing problem experienced by both pedestrians and vehicles due to the stream.

Asphalt laying completed

The Metropolitan Municipality, which has made the transportation of the citizens safe and comfortable with an investment of 12,5 million liras, has also completed the hot asphalt renewal work of 800 meters, which starts from Bergama Industry and provides access to the Bergama exit via Kızılırmak Street without interfering with urban traffic. İZBETON teams laid 18 thousand tons of asphalt in the region.
