The choice process can be made by the student and his/her parents at e-okul.meb.gov.tr ​​or from any secondary school/imam orator secondary school directorates. The choices made must be approved by the relevant secondary school directorates.

How to Make LGS Preference Procedures?

• All students, including those who take the exam and have a Central Exam Score, must choose a school that accepts students with local placement. If no preference is made on the Schools Accepting Students with Local Placement screen, the preference screen for Schools Accepting Students with Central Examination and Schools with Hostels will not be opened.
• Students; They will be able to choose in 3 groups: Schools that accept students with their Central Exam Score, Schools that accept students with Local Placement and Schools with Hostels. Students who do not take the Central Examination will be able to choose in two groups: Local Placement, Student Admission Schools, and Hostel Schools.
• Students will first choose from the Schools Accepting Students with Local Placement screen. Students will be able to choose a maximum of 3 schools, provided that they choose the first 5 schools from the local placement preferences from the Registration Area. In the choices made; A maximum of 3 schools can be selected from the same school type (Anatolian High School, Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Anatolian Imam Hatip High School). Students who complete the registration process by making their choices for schools that accept students by local placement, and if they want, up to 10 schools from the Schools Accepting Students by Central Exam screen to be opened for schools that accept students with a central exam; From the Pension Schools preference screen, a total of 5 schools will be able to be preferred, with a maximum of 20 schools.
• For those who cannot make their preferences electronically, the school directorates will make the selection process on behalf of the parent, following the request of the student's parent, in accordance with the "Preliminary Study Form for Placement Preferences", which is filled and signed by the parent.

How to Tell in LGS Local docking preference screen

Green, indicates the schools located in the Registration Area where the residence address for the student is in the “Registration Area”.

blue color, indicates the schools located in the Neighboring Registration Area according to the residence address for the student in the “Neighboring Registration Area”.

Red color, “Other” indicates the schools in the Registration Area where the student is located, other registration areas within the province that are not in the Neighboring Registration Area, and schools located in the registration areas outside the province, according to the student's residence address.

When Will LGS Preference Results Be Announced?
