The most effective fight against coronavirus is the vaccine. Reminder dose was defined for people who had BioNTech vaccine and who had been vaccinated for 6 months. Appointments can be made via the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS), e-Pulse account or Alo 182 for vaccination.
Cases due to new sub-variants of the coronavirus started to increase in Turkey as well as in other countries. Taking action, the Ministry of Health has reopened reminder dose appointments.
Those who have passed 6 months since the BioNTech vaccine will be able to receive the reminder dose.
One of 3 vaccines can be preferred
Those defined in the e-pulse system will be able to make an appointment and be vaccinated as of today.
For those who have 3 doses of BioNTech vaccine, this will be the 4th dose. For those aged 65 and over and in risky groups, this will be the 6th dose of the vaccine.
For the reminder dose, one of BioNTech, Sinovac or TURKOVAC can be preferred.
In Sinovac and Turkovac, the reminder dose interval was determined as 3 months.
