Preparations Continue for Günnercik Highland Festival

Preparations have started for the "Gazipaşa Tauruslar Günnercik Plateau Festival", which will be held for the third time this year by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and Gazipaşa Municipality. The Metropolitan Municipality is overhauling the deformed sections of the highland roads and correcting the damaged floors so that the citizens can provide comfortable transportation to Günnercik.

The countdown has begun for the 55rd Gazipaşa Günnercik Plateau Festival, which will be held in Günnercik Plateau at an altitude of 1800, 3 kilometers from Gazipaşa. The festivities to be held in Günnercik Plateau, which is the center of attention of citizens in all four seasons of the year with its magnificent nature, will last for 4 days. Joining hands for the festival, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and Gazipaşa Municipality started a mobilization on the roads so that citizens could reach the festival area in a safe and comfortable way.

Easy Access to the Plateau will be Provided

Metropolitan teams, which overhauled the road route between Gazipaşa Belbaşı Plateau and Günlercik Plateau festival area with its giant vehicle fleet and modernized its deformation parts, continue their work without slowing down. The festival, which will be organized by the Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and the Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs of Gazipaşa Municipality, will be held on July 29-30 and 31 in Günnercik Plateau of Gazipaşa. Citizens will have the opportunity to camp on the plateau at the Günnercik Plateau Festival.

Ataturk Silhouette to be Watched

Local artists will take part in the festival, where Sümer Ezgü will take the stage on Friday, July 29, and Kubat on Saturday, July 30, local and traditional games will be played. The nomadic migration, which has become the symbol of the festival, will begin on Saturday, July 30, at 16.00. Children's playgroup and animation activities will be active in the first two days so that children can have fun at the festival. A bonfire will be lit after the concert for two days. On the last day of the festival, the silhouette of Atatürk reflected on the mountain, which is the symbol of Günnercik plateau, will be watched early in the morning.
