Within the scope of cleaning the abandoned nets, also called "ghost nets", which pose a great threat to the biodiversity and sustainability of the seas, cleaning work was carried out on the shores of the Marmara Sea Marmara Islands region.

During the works, the ghost net, the size of 2 football fields, was removed from the sea by the divers. The teams will continue to regularly clean the ghost nets, which pose a great danger to the life of sea creatures. In this way, besides cleaning the seas; Many scientific projects such as increasing underwater vitality, creating artificial reefs and protecting red corals will be followed.
