Excitement Increases at International Kayseri Half Marathon

The excitement is increasing day by day before the International Kayseri Half Marathon, which will be organized by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Kayseri Half Marathon, which was held for the first time with the theme of 'Kültepe' last year within the scope of 150 Projects of Memduh Büyükkılıç in the 150th Anniversary, will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 with the theme of 'Erciyes' this year. Dr. Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, under the management of Memduh Büyükkılıç, is adding new ones to its activities, which can also be described as a promotional attack, which it started with the giant organizations it organizes at the national and international level.

In the Kayseri Half Marathon of the Metropolitan Municipality, which will be held as an event with wide participation, the participants will not only do sports and have fun with various activities, but also promote Kayseri, which is an open-air museum with its historical and natural beauties.

THIS YEAR'S THEME OF THE MARATHON WAS 'ERCIYES'

In this context, Spor A.Ş., which makes the people of Kayseri love sports, within the scope of the Metropolitan Municipality. Kayseri Half Marathon with the theme of 'Kültepe', which was organized with great participation in September last year, will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 this year. This year's theme of the International Kayseri Half Marathon, the registration of which started recently and continues with great interest, was determined as 'Erciyes'.

MARATHON WILL BE RUN IN 21 ROUTES IN THE FORM OF 10K, 3K AND PUBLIC RUN

The International Kayseri Half Marathon, which will be organized with the motto 'More than a Marathon' and the theme of 'Erciyes', which has become a world brand, will be held in three categories as 21K, 10K and public run. There is a TL participation fee requirement.

In the Half Marathon, the public run will start in front of the Ordu Evi and end in front of the Ordu Evi after returning from the Danube junction. The 10K run will start in front of the Ordu Evi and end in front of the Ordu Evi, with the return from the turning point on Sivas Caddesi. The 21K run will start in front of the Ordu Evi and end in front of the Ordu Evi with the return from the Kumarlı tram stop. Participants will be able to benefit from the facilities of the Metropolitan free of charge.

MONEY PRIZE TO THE PARTICIPANTS WHO ACHIEVE THE GRADE

At the end of the marathon, a total of 384 thousand TL cash prize will be given to the participants who achieve a degree. In the half marathon, where thousands of professional athletes from Turkey and abroad will take part, the awards will be presented in the 21K General Classification, 21K Age Groups Turkish Athlete, 10K General Classification Turkish Athlete and 10 Age Group Turkish Athlete categories.
