Our Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, visited the Autism Center and DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center within the scope of her study visit to Azerbaijan and initiated cooperation in the field of "social services" between the Ministry of Family and Social Services of Turkey and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Azerbaijan. signed the memorandum of understanding.

On the second day of his visit to Azerbaijan, dated 19-21 July 2022, Minister Derya Yanık visited the Autism Center in the capital Baku and received information about the studies carried out.

Examining the pictures made by children with autism, Minister Yanık sohbet and joined their singing. Yanik also met with volunteer children and young people working to contribute to children with autism, expressing that volunteer activities are very important, and said that he congratulated everyone who supported them wholeheartedly.

Visiting the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, Minister Yanık made observations at the center and received information from the authorities about the activities.

Afterwards, Minister Derya Yanık attended the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of Family and Social Services of Turkey and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Azerbaijan.

The memorandum of understanding, which covers the development of projects to increase the social welfare of the disabled, elderly, children, women, families of veterans and martyrs, sharing experience and knowledge, developing services for those in need and increasing their effectiveness, was signed by Minister Derya Yanık and Minister of Labor and Social Security of Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev. .

“We are constantly working to develop and strengthen our solidarity relations”

In his speech at the signing ceremony, Minister Yanık stated that an important cooperation was put into writing with the agreement.

Emphasizing that the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are so rooted, sincere, close and strong that there is no need for a tariff, Yanık said:

“However, we turned the cooperation born from this date into an official document on the international platform with the Shusha Declaration last year. As the ministers of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the ministers of the Republic of Turkey, we are constantly working to develop and strengthen our relations of solidarity with each other, mutually negotiating the works we should do, the works we can do, the services we can do at the scale of our ministries, as required by the Shusha Declaration.

As a matter of fact, as a ministry in this sense, we have two colleagues in Azerbaijan that we have common working areas, Mr. Babayev and Mrs. Bahar Muradova. We have continued our technical work with both of our counterparts and the unit, and we have made preparations for our own fields. The memorandum of understanding that we have just signed is actually a formalization of the technical work we have done so far.”

Indicating that he fully believes that very important services will be provided, Yanık stated that the close relationship between Azerbaijan and Turkey will continue with the works in the field of duty of the ministries.

Minister Yanık gave information about the work carried out in various fields by describing the foster family service carried out under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife, Emine Erdoğan.

Minister Yanık stated that the study visits to Azerbaijan were very productive and wished that the works to be carried out within the scope of the protocol in the coming days would be beneficial and benefit the societies.

Within the scope of the study visits, the ministry delegation also visited the Heydar Aliyev Center.
