13 students of 145 İZELMAN kindergartens, which also serve in Dikili, Kemalpaşa, Beydağ and Aliağa outside the city center, graduated. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer shared the graduation excitement of the students in İZELMAN kindergartens, which provides accessible education services in early childhood, with their families.

In addition to Mayor Tunç Soyer, Beydağ Mayor Feridun Yılmazlar, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Barış Karcı and Deputy Secretary Generals, İZELMAN A.Ş. Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Adnan Oğuz Akyarlı, İZELMAN General Manager Burak Alp Ersen, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Former Deputy Mayor Sırrı Aydoğan and students' parents attended.

The graduation ceremony started with the songs of the Sustainability Choir formed by the little ones. Delivering their flags to the new students, the graduates presented flowers to President Soyer.

Soyer: One of the most important jobs of a municipality should be kindergartens

Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Tunç Soyer said, “When we took office, we said that if the state is the father, the municipality is the mother. One of the most important tasks of a municipality while performing this duty should be kindergartens. Our kindergartens are the most valuable assets of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. Because no matter what we do, it cannot be as permanent as the education of children. We will continue to work to improve their education, to prepare them for the future. We know that what happens is up to the age of 7. Starting next year, we will start the nature literacy course and we will constantly improve our curriculum.”

“The goal is to raise individuals who also strive for universal values”

İZELMAN A.Ş. Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Adnan Oğuz Akyarlı, on the other hand, stated that one of the most important stages of life is the early childhood period and said: kazanAll kinds of virtues and knowledge that we bring will enlighten them throughout their lives. We wanted to plan this process with the wisdom and science teaching of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the vision of our President Tunç Soyer. We held an early childhood education workshop. In this workshop, the importance of raising individuals who adopt local values, internalize national values ​​and strive for universal values ​​came to the fore. We took the 17-point sustainable development goals of the United Nations as basis. We are designing our curriculum so that our children can internalize these 17 items.”

President Soyer gave the students their graduation certificates after his speech. The graduation ceremony continued with the performances prepared by the students in İZELMAN kindergartens.
