In EFES-2022, one of the largest planned exercises of the Turkish Armed Forces, Turkish defense industry systems produced with domestic and national means are on display.

The EFES-2022 Combined, Joint Actual Fire Field Exercise, which is the biggest joint exercise in Turkey, continues in Izmir Seferihisar with the participation of the elements of friendly and allied countries. In the exercise area, there are stands of 42 companies in the exhibition section created under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).

Domestic and national defense industry systems are exhibited at the stands. Drill; It also enables the participating countries to see the capabilities of the Turkish defense industry, which develops and manufactures many systems from SİHAs, helicopters, warships, munitions, electronic warfare systems to radar systems, and puts them at the service of our security forces.

Ephesus 2022 Exercise started with the participation of allied units

In the Combined Joint Live-Fire Exercise (EFES22), which is one of the biggest exercises regularly organized by the Turkish Armed Forces, the actual field took place with the participation of the allied countries. More than a thousand foreign personnel from 37 countries will participate in the exercise. In this context, together with the TAF elements, this number is planned to be more than 10 thousand.

The Italian frigate, the Libyan Navy torpedo boat and the San Antonio-class Dock Landing Ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) of the US Navy's Kearsarge Amphibious Readiness Group (ARG) and accompanying 22nd Marine Corps Expeditionary Corps will also participate in the exercise. Defense ministers, chiefs of general staff and force commanders of more than 20 countries are expected to participate in the exercise as a protocol.

In the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense on the subject,

“One of the biggest planned exercises of the Turkish Armed Forces, the EFES-2022 Exercise has started. While the exercise started with the first phase of the Computer Aided Command Post Exercise, the actual phase started on 20 May. More than a thousand foreign personnel from 37 countries will participate in the exercise. It is planned that more than 2022 thousand personnel, together with the TAF elements, will participate in the EFES-10 Exercise, which is the largest joint joint exercise in the region.
