Yaris Cross, which brings together Toyota's rich SUV history and its experience in practical automobiles, was put on sale in Turkey. The ambitious new representative of the B-SUV segment, Yaris Cross, took its place in Toyota plazas with prices starting from 667.800 TL special for the launch. Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid, the only full hybrid option in the B-SUV segment, has prices starting from 702.600 TL.
The ideal companion on every journey
Toyota's new model, Yaris Cross, brought the SUV design language of the brand to an appearance with strong and dynamic lines. Designed with the aim of being an ideal companion for daily driving, Yaris Cross reinvented the urban SUV style and took its place in the Toyota SUV family with a muscular design that distinguishes it from its competitors.
Standing out with its strong and unique design, the Yaris Cross shows at first glance that it has a design that emphasizes its high driving position and dynamic design. Combining the diamond-inspired body design with sharp and powerful lines, the front of the Yaris Cross carries the signature design elements we see in Toyota SUVs. The overlapping isosceles grille design on the front and lower grille also shows itself in the Yaris Cross model.
Other striking elements in the exterior design of the Yaris Cross include LED headlights, LED front fog lights, aluminum alloy wheels up to 17 inches, panoramic glass roof, LED taillights and sequential effect taillights.
Offering a spacious and bright driving experience with its large interior volume and glass roof option, the Yaris Cross is designed as 95 mm longer, 20 mm wider and 240 mm longer than the Yaris hatchback model. Measuring 2,560 mm, the Yaris Cross has the same wheelbase as the Yaris hatchback and has a ground clearance of 170 mm. This height, which supports the SUV design, also offers the driver a better visibility.
The interior of the Yaris Cross combines a modern and quality look with an SUV style theme. While offering a wide viewing angle with its high seating position, the steering wheel and seat design are designed to provide high comfort as well as to establish a strong communication with the car. The strong lines between the center console and the multimedia screen are integrated with the climate control buttons to create a stylish look.
Toyota's new SUV, Yaris Cross, is offered for sale in Turkey with two engine options, 1.5-liter gasoline and 1.5-liter hybrid. Gasoline versions; Dream, Dream X-Pack, Flame X-Pack; hybrid versions can be preferred with Dream, Dream X-Pack, Flame X-Pack and Passion X-Pack hardware options.
The Yaris Cross model, which draws attention with its rich equipment in all versions, comes as standard with an 8-inch Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto smartphone integrations, a 7-inch color TFT driver display, wireless charging unit, rear view camera and electronic parking brake.
In addition, according to the version, a 10-inch color display screen with reflection on the windshield, Blind Spot Warning System, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, driver and front passenger seat heating and ambient lighting are also among the features in the vehicles.
In addition to its technological features, Yaris Cross also comes with features that will make life easier on journeys. Thanks to Yaris Cross's smart engineering and interior layout, 397 liters of luggage space are competitive in its class. When the rear seats are folded, the trunk volume increases to 1097 liters. The double-decker and double-sided trunk floor with the 40:20:40 folding seats further increases the practicality.
The only full hybrid in the B-SUV segment: Yaris Cross Hybrid
Toyota Yaris Cross provides both high driving pleasure and low consumption with its 1.5-liter hybrid and 1.5-liter gasoline engine options. Yaris Cross with 4th generation hybrid technology is the only full hybrid in the B-SUV segment. The three-cylinder 40-liter Hybrid Dynamic Force engine with 1.5 percent thermal efficiency is combined with the electric motor. Designed to offer high power and torque at low revs, the engine provides 116 PS of power and 120 Nm of torque when combined with the hybrid system. According to the combined WLTP values, it has a consumption of 4.6 lt/100 km and a CO105 emission value of 2 g/km. The Yaris Cross Hybrid uses the e-CVT automatic transmission, as with all Toyota's hybrids.
The lithium-ion battery used in the Yaris Cross model stands out with its high efficiency. With the improvements made in the battery, the Yaris Cross Hybrid can travel longer in city driving with zero emissions and zero fuel consumption. It can go up to 130 km/h using only the electric motor.
However, the Yaris Cross Hybrid will be available with the Sahara yellow body and black roof color options, which are only available for the Passion X-Pack version.
In addition to the hybrid version, the Yaris Cross product range also offers a 1.5-liter petrol engine option. The gasoline Yaris Cross, which has the same power unit as used in the hybrid system, is paired with a CVT transmission. With 125 PS maximum power and 153 Nm maximum torque, the engine offers performance in line with the dynamic capabilities of Yaris Cross.
In addition to the power units of the Yaris Cross, it is supported by the GA-B platform, which offers dynamic performance, high rigidity, chassis stability and low center of gravity. This platform, which has proven itself in the Yaris hatchback model, minimizes body torsion with its ideal front-rear weight distribution and enables the driver to respond sensitively to his reactions.
As in every model, Toyota did not compromise on safety in its new model, Yaris Cross, and took its standards further. Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 active safety and driver assistance systems are offered as standard in the Yaris Cross model.
Forward Collision Prevention System with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control at all speeds, Intelligent Lane Tracking System and Automatic High Beams prioritize both safety and comfort. In addition, the Front Center Airbags and the Junction Collision Avoidance System, which joined the Toyota product range with the Yaris, make the New Yaris Cross a complete car in safety.
