It has been revealed that TCDD Tasimacilik, which has announced a loss since its establishment in 2016, made a loss of 2017 billion TL between 2021 and 5,6.
According to the news of Mustafa Bildircin from Birgün, the period loss of TCDD Transportation, which was established under TCDD in 2016 in order to increase competition and ensure liberalization in the railway transportation sector, has been determined. The company, which includes many former Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) executives, announced a loss of 2020 billion TL in 1,3. The loss of the company last year increased exponentially and reached 1,6 billion TL.
Shortly after the enactment of the Law on Liberalization of Turkish Railway Transport, enacted on May 1, 2013, TCDD was divided into two. Within the scope of the law, on 6461 June 14, TCDD Taşımacılık Anonim Şirketi started its activities.
TCDD Tasimacilik, which was discussed in the public opinion on the grounds that it was "turned into the AKP's backyard" and criticized for the assignments that disregarded merit, has constantly made losses as of the year it was founded. The net period loss of the company in 2017, the first year of operation, was recorded as 631 million 737 thousand TL.

Explaining that the ratio of revenues to expenses is 63 percent, the company reported that a loss of 2020 billion 1 million TL was made at the end of 333.

NO NEWS ABOUT CREDIT
It has not been announced when the Ankara-İzmir High Speed Train (YHT) Project, the foundation of which was laid in 2012 and the completion date was announced as 2019 and then 2020, will be completed. It turned out that TCDD was not aware of the 2,45 billion Euro loan, which was announced to be obtained from the UK in March and announced as the “record financing for the Ankara-İzmir YHT Project”. TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş refrained from explaining the date when the project would be completed at the SOE Commission meeting. Upon the question of CHP's Atila Sertel, Akbaş said that he did not know about the loan: “Credit is not a matter under the responsibility of TCDD, it is the subject of the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments. I do not know."
