The 100th year level crossing in Tarsus, which is heavily used in the city center and located next to the Turquoise Bazaar, is being taken into maintenance for the revision of the rail system and the arrangement of the damaged ground.
The 100th year level crossing on Tarsus Kasım Ekenler Boulevard is heavily used by both pedestrians and drivers. At the level crossing, the revision and editing process will be carried out by TCDD teams at the points where the rail system is located.
Mersin Metropolitan Municipality teams will completely renew the asphalt floor, which forms the superstructure of the level crossing. With the technical work and ground arrangement process to be carried out at the level crossing, safe passage of both drivers, disabled individuals and other pedestrians, as well as trains, will be ensured.
Within the scope of the said activity, the Tarsus 100th anniversary level crossing will be closed to traffic on Sunday, June 12, starting at 22.00:XNUMX. The gate will be reopened after the transactions, which are aimed to be completed in a short time.
