Olten Philharmonic Orchestra brings polyphonic music together with ballet synthesized from west to east. The concert named “Syntez” will meet with the audience on 1 and 2 June at İzmir Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center.

Olten Art Foundation offers a very special concert to art lovers in order to popularize classical music. The concert, which consists of the synthesis of dances, in which the İzmir State Opera and Ballet Dancers will take place on the same stage together with the Olten Philharmonic Orchestra, offers a wide spectrum from classical ballet to Latin dances, from modern dance to folk dances. Tulio Gagliardo Varas is the conductor of this colorful concert, Burcu Sürmeli Borovalı is the choreographer and Tolga Iyiuyurlar is the ballet coordinator.

Olten Art Foundation Chief Executive Officer Fatma Olten stated that the presence of both a dance and a philharmonic orchestra on the stage at the same time makes this project very special in the concert where 50 dancers of İzmir State Opera and Ballet will accompany the pieces to be performed by the 12-person Olten Philharmonic Orchestra. In this very special concert on and 1 June, we will watch various music and dances from west to east with the interpretations of ballet artists. We invite all art lovers to the concert, which consists of adapting dances ranging from classical western dances to Liber Tango, from Folk Dances to Turkish Folk Dances, faithfully to the original polyphonic music.” he said.

The show named “Synthesis”, which consists of the synthesis of dances accompanied by the Olten Philharmonic Orchestra, will be at İzmir Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center on 1 and 2 June 2022.
