İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, which creates "Living Parks" where the people of İzmir will integrate with nature and forest, has realized the "Olivelo" in Güzelbahçe Yelki. The first guests of Olivelo Living Park before the opening were young people. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer, who made one of his election promises with the “Living Parks” project and made his final examination in the park, did not leave the camp residents alone on the first day of Yelki Olivelo Youth Camp. I wish I could be young people

Visiting the Olivelo Living Park in a private area of 57 hectares and meeting with young people sohbet President Tunç Soyer said, “Youth does not come again, I want them to live their youth to the fullest. These areas exist mostly for them. Let them savor it. The first camp was set up, I'm just envious. I wish I could be in the young people's shoes," he said.

Nature needs to penetrate into the city.

Emphasizing that Living Parks are spaces designed for nature to penetrate into the city again, Mayor Soyer said, “Cities have surrendered to concrete so much that we have forgotten nature. Today our friends showed that algae on a rock can be revived with a drop of water. Nature is a miracle and we forget about it. We will make 35 Living Parks. The Olivelo we created in Güzelbahçe Yelki is just one of them. Nature needs to penetrate into the city again. I hope other cities follow this example. The more we meet with nature, the happier we are when we make peace with nature. Because we are also a part of nature,” he said.
