STM's National Technologies Marked the EFES-2022 Exercise

One of the biggest planned exercises of the Turkish Armed Forces, EFES-2022 Combined, Joint Actual Field Exercise; It was held between 9 May and 9 June in Doğanbey Shooting Exercise Region located in Seferihisar district of İzmir.

STM exhibited military naval platforms and tactical mini UAV systems at the Defense Industry Exhibition held in the exercise area. Within the scope of military naval projects; The main contractor of Turkey's first national frigate (Stock Class) TCG ISTANBUL, Pakistani Marine Supply Tanker (PNFT), STM MPAC Fast Ship and TS1700 submarine models met with the participants at the fair. Tactical Mini UAV Systems exhibited by STM in the exercise; Turkey's first mini-strike UAV KARGU, Fixed Wing Attack UAV system ALPAGU and Scout UAV system TOGAN attracted great attention.

President Erdoğan received information about STM's projects

In the EFES-2022 Exercise, President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the accompanying delegation visited the STM stand. During the visit, President of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. Mr. İsmail Demir and STM General Manager Mr. Özgür Güleryüz provided information to President Erdoğan about STM's projects.

Minister of National Defense Mr. Hulusi Akar, Chief of General Staff Gen. Mr. Yaşar Güler, Land Forces Commander Gen. Mr. Many high-level military delegations, especially Musa Avsever, visited the STM stand. Foreign military delegations from more than 15 countries from Africa to Asia, from Europe to South America were also informed about the national solutions developed by STM.

A direct hit from MİLGEMs

During the Distinguished Observer Day activities of the EFES-2022 Exercise, Turkey's first national corvette project #MİLGEM ADA Class Corvettes, of which STM is the main subcontractor, hit targets on the ground with artillery strikes. On the other hand, the striker UAV system KARGU, which has been effectively used by the Turkish Armed Forces since 2018, also took part in the exercise.
