15 personnel are participating in the Eren Blockade-1.165 Gendarmerie Specialist Sergeant Mehmet Çelik narco-terrorism operation of the Ministry of Interior.
In order to remove the PKK terrorist organization from the country's agenda and to neutralize the terrorists who are considered to be sheltering in the region, "EREN ABLUKA-15 (DİYARBAKIRYALAZA/BAĞLAN) J.UZM.ÇVŞ. MEHMET ÇELİK” narco-terrorist operation was launched.
In the operation, by the Diyarbakır Provincial Gendarmerie Command; 1.165 personnel and 75 operational teams, consisting of Gendarmerie Commando Operations (JOPER), Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH), Gendarmerie Commando and Security Guard teams.
On the first day of the operation, 136 points hidden in the bushes and woodlands were detected in the rural areas of Lice district Bağlan and Yalaza Neighborhoods. As a result of the search made at the points;
- 3 AK-47 infantry rifles,
- 20 kg of ammonium nitrate used in making handmade explosives,
- 989 kg of cannabis powder,
- 62 kg of herbal cannabis,
- 2.144.570 root cannabis plants were seized.
