Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, stated that all institutions and ministries are on alert and said, “We stand by our citizens and our nation with thousands of personnel and thousands of construction equipment. We continue to work on village roads and group roads.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu made investigations in Sinop Ayancık, where floods occurred after heavy rain. Making a statement after the examinations, Karaismailoğlu said that as of today, the intensity of the rain has decreased and the water level in the stream bed has also decreased. Pointing out that all institutions and ministries are on the alert, Karaismailoğlu said, “We stand by our citizens and our nation with thousands of personnel and thousands of construction equipment. Not much has been affected in this region by these recent rains. We have taken all our measures to prevent it from happening in the future," he said.

OUR WORK CONTINUES ON VILLAGE ROADS AND GROUP ROADS

Reminding that there was a great flood disaster in the Western Black Sea Region in August last year, Karaismailoğlu said, “Unfortunately, we also had losses. After that, we took our measures. We started our work quickly. We have renewed and rebuilt dozens of our bridges. We have built bridges that are resistant to floods and disasters. The bridge that is visible behind us now is the İkisu Bridge, one of the important structures we opened in the middle of winter. We have completed many similar bridges in the region. Thanks to these bridges, our regions have not been affected by the last rains. Of course, we have our shortcomings. We continue to work especially on village roads and group roads.”

WE HAVE COVERED SIGNIFICANT DISTANCES IN THE LAST YEAR

Noting that significant progress has been made in the last year, Karaismailoğlu said that citizens should heed the warnings. Stating that this process will be overcome without causing any trouble, Karaismailoğlu said, “From now on, we focused on all our work in order not to be affected again in case of a possible disaster. We continue them. We are here to review the work with our friends. We are with our people and our nation. As always, we will get through this process comfortably.”
