From 13 to 19 June, the National Energy Saving Promotion Week is taking place in China. This year's theme was determined as “Being Green and Low-Carbon, Prioritizing Energy Savings”.

In recent years, energy-saving and environmentally friendly green lifestyles, including the prevention of food waste, green transportation, classification of household waste, and preference for environmentally friendly products, have become widespread among the Chinese. Especially with the development of science and technology, reducing resource consumption, improving the quality of green life, and the new low carbon trend is now leading new fashions. In the city of Chongqing, located in the southwest of the country, items made of foam and waste ceramics are on display.

Energy-efficient LED dandelion lights illuminate streets and squares in Shanghai city. In Anhui province, solar-powered lamps illuminate the streets.

Many works of art are also made with the green transformation, which also leaves its mark on cultural events. For example, in the city of Nanjing, Jiangsu province, artifacts made from environmentally friendly recycled papers are on display at the mall. Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University students held an ecological fashion show. The clothes are made from natural materials such as cotton, hemp, silk and bamboo fiber. The design concept includes elements such as ecology, environmental protection and low carbon.
