HONOR Talents Global Design Awards 2022 Started

The design competition organized by HONOR aims to evaluate the talents of creative people to improve the user experience on smartphones.

Global smart device manufacturer HONOR, the annual design competition HONOR Talents Global Design Awards 2022 has started. With a prize pool of $120, 77 awards, and a jury of the world's leading artists and industry experts, the competition will continue until October 7, 2022.

George Zhao, CEO of HONOR, said, “The HONOR Talents Global Design Awards are a great competition for users to showcase their talents and creativity. “From user experience to industrial design, all works submitted to us will reach global audiences and enrich the experiences offered by HONOR smartphones.”

Last year, HONOR showcased the winning works in different Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Xiamen, providing an ambitious art experience for consumers in the region.

New categories with attractive prizes

The HONOR Talents Global Design Awards 2022 is accepting applications in two groups and six categories to highlight the relationship between art and technology. Participants can submit Artificial Intelligence Interactive Artworks and Art Installations in the Digital Art category. HONOR is also accepting applications ranging from Wallpapers for Graphic Design, Foldable Wallpapers, Clocks and Open Designs.

The HONOR Talents Global Design Awards 2022 also offers the opportunity to showcase winning works in the form of physical products at HONOR global launch events. Plus, winners will continue to win consistently through partnerships between HONOR and over 100 mainstream media outlets. The global champion of the competition will also be entitled to a cash prize of approximately $10.

A distinguished jury of industry professionals

Setting a new benchmark for global design competitions, HONOR invited world-renowned artists and experts in this field to the jury of the HONOR Talents Global Design Awards 2022.

In the jury of the competition, the chief designer of Beijing Winter Olympics mascot Bing Dwen Dwen, Prof. Cao Xue, from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and also the dean of the School of Urban Design, Prof. Ma Juncheng, pioneer AR (Augmented Reality) artist Yunuen Esparza, Cedric Kiefer, co-founder and creative leader of renowned digital art studio Onformative, internationally renowned artist Prof. Xiao Hui Wang and Prof. from the Chinese Academy of Arts, who designed the logo of the G20 Hangzhou Summit.
