The heavy rain that continued in the capital caused many problems in the infrastructure.

After heavy rain, the transmission line No. 1 of Çamlıdere Dam, located at the Akıncılar-Ankara Istanbul Highway connection, was damaged. The General Directorate of ASKİ temporarily closed the line into service due to the dent on the road as a result of the explosion of the predictive concrete line on June 12, 2022 at 02.30.

ALTERNATIVE LINES ARE COMMISSIONED

ASKİ General Directorate reported that the entrance and exit of Akıncılar's connection to the highway were closed to traffic in order to ensure life safety.

Expressing that alternative lines were put into use to prevent water cuts, ASKİ officials said, “The road where the collapse occurred was secured with the necessary warning signs. Alternative lines were put into use by shutting off the water flow in the transmission line. There will be no water cuts," he said.

The ASKİ teams, who started to work to eliminate the malfunction by intervening in the transmission line, will repair the line and open the road to traffic as soon as possible after the rains end and the physical working environment is provided.
