Railway Vehicles Registration and Registry Regulation, prepared by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette. Type approval certificate fee will not be required until the end of 2027 for railway vehicles manufactured in Turkey.
Accordingly, the registration fees for the acceptance of a railway vehicle to be in compliance with the relevant technical and administrative legislation and determination of its ownership in order to be able to navigate safely in the national railway network were re-determined.
This year, the registration fees will be applied as 3 thousand 500 for the train set (for each vehicle in the set), 7 thousand 500 for the towing vehicles, 1000 lira for the towed vehicles, line, construction, maintenance, repair, measuring machines and control vehicles.
EXEMPTION TO DOMESTIC PRODUCTION
The Regulation on the Amendment of the Railway Vehicles Type Approval Regulation has also entered into force. With the amendment, a regulation was made in the type approval processes for railway vehicles whose registration is required. Accordingly, type approval certificate fee will not be charged until the end of 2027 for railway vehicles produced in the country.
The type approval certificate fee, which shows that the basic design features of the railway vehicle are in compliance with the regulation, is 424 thousand 250 for the train set, 282 thousand 834 for the towing vehicles, 141 thousand 416 liras for the towed vehicles, line, construction, maintenance, repair, measuring machines and control vehicles. will be.
