Forgetfulness, which is one of the biggest problems of our age, has started to show itself not only in older ages, but also in young people due to a stressful life, busy work environment, air pollution, environmental factors and wrong eating habits.

Forgetfulness; It is a permanent and often progressive clinical picture in terms of its natural course, which causes the deterioration of more than one cognitive area without clouding of consciousness as a result of damage to the adult central nervous system due to acquired reasons, and related activities of daily living cannot be continued at the same level as before. Loss of cognitive skills such as memory, attention, language skills, and visual-spatial functions is the picture we encounter in forgetfulness.

There can be many reasons for forgetfulness. Hormonal deficiencies and vitamin deficiencies (Vitamins D and B12) can be counted among them. Severe depression is also one of the causes of forgetfulness.

Red meat, fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids, hazelnuts and walnuts, blueberries and dark chocolate, tomatoes, spinach, cinnamon and pomegranate in terms of omega-3 fatty acids are among the foods that are good for forgetfulness.
