Passengers from around the world honored Emirates with awards for Best Wi-Fi and Best Food & Beverage in the Middle East. The awards were presented to the airline at the prestigious 2022 APEX Regional Passenger Choice Awards® ceremony held in Dublin, Ireland.

For this year's awards, confirmed passengers on more than one million flights operated by nearly 600 airlines around the world were asked to rate their airline experience in five subcategories (seat comfort, cabin service, food & beverage, entertainment and Wi-Fi).

Emirates crowned its uninterrupted work to deliver the best possible passenger experiences with two awards, bringing the total number of APEX awards it has won since 2010, when the awards began to be distributed, to 30.

The Best Food & Beverage award went to Emirates' high quality, regionally inspired food and extensive beverage menu. Thanks to the airline's attention to detail, more than 4600 dishes from nearly 110 recipes that appeal to every palate are loaded onto the plane in a regular operation. Emirates also places special emphasis on beverage service, which offers a wide selection of the finest champagnes, specialty wines and spirits, as well as non-alcoholic cocktails and beverages, to carefully selected teas and coffees.

Knowing that staying connected is an indispensable need in the skies as well as on the ground, Emirates not only became the first airline to equip its entire fleet with a mobile phone connection in 2007, but also offers Wi-Fi service on each of its aircraft today. Offering free connectivity options to all Business and First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum and above passengers with affordable plans, Emirates changed its limited plans to unlimited plans or timed plans last year to simplify MB usage.

Emirates' award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice, offers an unmatched range of content in 150 languages ​​appealing to a global passenger base, with a total of more than 5000 channels, including 40 channels dedicated to families and children. It also offers a selection of over 4000 hours of movies and TV shows, close to 3500 hours of music and podcasts, as well as five live TV channels for sports fans, featuring major sporting events. The inflight ice platform will offer new, exciting and exclusive content for everyone traveling this summer and beyond.
