Emirates and Airlink Officially Launch Codeshare Flights

Emirates and Airlink officially launched codeshare flights. With the partnership of Emirates and Airlink, passengers will be able to easily create their ideal itineraries and benefit from easy travel opportunities with a single reservation reference code to eight cities in South Africa via the airline's destinations in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. Flight reservations can be made via emirates.com.tr, directly or through OTA travel agencies. As of June 2022, it will be possible to travel instantly with tickets purchased.

Emirates passengers will now be able to book a range of additional flights, including eight destinations via Johannesburg, five via Cape Town and one destination via Durban. New routes include Bloemfontein, Hoedspruit, Port Elizabeth, Kimberley, George and East London, among others.

Emirates currently operates two daily flights from Johannesburg to Dubai, one daily from Cape Town, and a total of five round-trip flights per week from Durban. The airline is also working to create more transportation opportunities to provide a better experience for its passengers. In addition to its partnership with South African Airways, Emirates has expanded its regional network to 79 destinations in South Africa, with its codeshare agreement with Airlink, and contracted flights with Cemair and FlySafair.
