The winners of the "Bicycle City Konya"-themed painting competition organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality for 31th grade students in 7 districts have been announced. Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay congratulated all the students who participated in the competition.
The "Bicycle City Konya" themed painting competition organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Provincial Directorate of National Education for 7th grade students across the city has concluded.
Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they are carrying out important works in order to make Konya known as the city of bicycles and to spread the bicycle culture. President Altay said, “In this context, we organized the Bicycle City Konya themed painting competition, which we previously held for 4th graders across the city in cooperation with our Konya Provincial Directorate of National Education, this time for 7th graders. With the competition, we saw that our students successfully synthesized the different experiences of Konya with the bicycle theme. I congratulate all our students who participated in the competition for portraying this accumulation with their own interpretations.” he said.
BICYCLES WIN
With the cooperation of Konya Provincial Directorate of National Education, 31 students from 83 districts made it to the finals, and the students who ranked in the competition won bicycles and bicycle equipment. Ethem Emir Akgüneş from Meram Şehit Pilot Ayfer Gök Secondary School became the winner in the competition; Beray Kale from Yunak Kuzören Martyr Sinan Aktay Secondary School and Ecem Tuğçe Aydoğdu from Meram Alparslan Secondary School came in second.
