TEKNOFEST 2022 Preparations Continue at Carsamba Airport Day and Night

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality continues its work day and night at Çarşamba Airport within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2022 preparations, which will contribute greatly to the promotion of the city in the national and international arena.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, which saw the festival to be held between 30 August and 4 September as an important opportunity for the development of the city's tourism, accelerated its infrastructure services. From the Smart City Traffic Safety project to environmental regulations, municipality teams are trying to train them for TEKNOFEST by carrying out their activities meticulously.

One of the working places is Çarşamba Airport, where the festival will be held. The teams affiliated to the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Road Construction Maintenance and Repair Department, which continue their work day and night here, make the road infrastructure and superstructure, parking areas and landscaping at the airport.

Secretary General İlhan Bayram and Deputy Secretary General Metin Köksal followed the work done at Çarşamba Airport day and night. He received information from the relevant people about the latest situation in the studies.

Stating that they are working as the Metropolitan Municipality to organize the festival in a way worthy of our city, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “We are working day and night to ensure that this great event with international participation can be carried out perfectly in every aspect befitting our city. We invest in many issues such as our Smart City Traffic Safety project, our landscaping, science center, discovery campus. This festival is a very important opportunity for our city. I hope we will host an exemplary organization together with our deputies, Ondokuz Mayıs University and Samsun University, representatives of all public institutions and organizations, and NGOs. We will make the best use of this important opportunity for the promotion of our city, both at home and abroad.”
