Making the opening speech of the meeting EGİAD Reminding that life and commerce have accelerated and evolved into a volatile period, especially with the rapidly increasing digitalization during the pandemic period, Deputy Chairman Cem Demirci emphasized that it is necessary to be shaped according to the culture of working with new generations, and said, “In this sense, we foresee that our future will be shaped by the vision and habits of the new generation, that is, the Z generation. The development of technologies, the commercialization of the developed technologies, the support of entrepreneurs and the provision of financing are all important separately, and it is our duty to evaluate them as a whole. In today's world, where social development has become knowledge-based, creative ideas and activities have gained a completely different importance. In particular, support mechanisms to generate ideas and commercialize them in the light of the regulations made in training programs are of great importance. As a country, we have a growing entrepreneurship ecosystem with technopolis investments, R&D, innovation incentives and private sector start-up collaborations that have been increasing for many years. Today, universities are ranked according to the entrepreneurship and innovation index; Institutions that train creative young people in accordance with market conditions and starting a new business come to the fore, and EU projects that encourage turning individual creativity into economic value become widespread.
