Overpasses Illuminated With Red Light Due to Kızılay's 154th Anniversary

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality illuminated the symbolized overpasses of the city with red light due to the 154th anniversary of the establishment of Kızılay. The Metropolitan celebrated the 1868th anniversary of the Turkish Red Crescent, which was established in 154 and has reached the needy all over the world without any discrimination from past to present, by illuminating some important and symbolic overpasses of the city in red.

9 DIFFERENT POINTS TURNED IN RED

In this context, teams affiliated to the Department of Energy, Lighting and Mechanical Affairs have covered 9 different points in red. With the study done by Dr. Sadık Ahmet, Bülent Ecevit, Alparslan Türkeş, Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, Martyr Muhammet Fatih Safitürk, Kocaeli Congress Center, School District pedestrian overpass bridge, Yahya Kaptan Tramway underpass and Central Bank tram underpass were colored with red light to commemorate the 154th anniversary of Kızılay. The Metropolitan's lighting of the overpasses at the important points of Kocaeli in red for the Turkish Red Crescent received great applause from the citizens of Kocaeli.
