In the first 5 months of this year, 1 million 271 thousand 971 real estate sales transactions were made in Turkey, resulting in 13 billion 778 million 47 thousand 730 lira title deed fee income.
According to the data of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, 276 thousand 376 real estate sales transactions were made last month, and 3 billion 302 million 160 thousand 557 liras and 42 kurus title deed fee income was provided.
The number of sales transactions in May decreased by 287 percent compared to April, when 72 thousand 3,7 real estate sales were made.
Throughout the country, 2022 million 1 thousand 271 real estate sales transactions were carried out in the January-May 971 period. 13 billion 778 million 47 thousand 730 lira title deed fee income was obtained from these transactions.
562 thousand 896 of the transactions were residences, 216 thousand 582 were land, 340 thousand 403 were fields, 59 thousand 917 were workplaces and the rest were the sale of other immovable properties.
Istanbul ranked first in real estate sales
The province with the most sales transactions was Istanbul with 170 thousand 692 sales.
Istanbul was followed by Ankara with 87 thousand 864 transactions, İzmir with 72 thousand 49 transactions, Antalya with 53 thousand 448 transactions, Bursa with 48 thousand 699 transactions, Konya with 37 thousand 43 transactions, Kocaeli with 35 thousand 121 transactions and Balıkesir with 34 thousand 807 transactions.
