Reminding that the 2053 Transport and Logistics Master Plan, which has an investment forecast of 189,3 billion euros until 2053, was shared with the public and the whole world on April 5, Karaismailoğlu stated that the said plan is the most up-to-date example of these approaches. Emphasizing that mobility, logistics and digitalization were determined as the main focus areas in the 2053 vision, taking into account the developing trends in the world, Karaismailoğlu continued as follows: “Our holistic development-oriented vision that strengthens the bond of our country with the world; It has many common denominators with the basic approaches of the European Union, such as the European Green Deal, the Paris Climate Agreement and the European Climate Law. In this direction, we aimed to increase the share of railway in our investments to 2023 percent in 60, and to increase its share in freight transportation from 2053 percent to 5 percent in 22. Thus, we will make a great contribution to the goal of becoming a carbon-neutral continent by 2050 in the fight against climate change within the framework of the European Union's Green Deal. SAFE AND COMFORTABLE TRANSPORTATION TARGET WITH ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTMENTS
