The International Erciyes Ultra Sky Trail Mountain Marathon, which has become the symbol of Turkey, will be held on 1-2 July this year.
The International Erciyes Ultra Sky Trail Mountain Marathon, which will be held for the 3917th time this year, hosted by Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. continues to be mentioned in the racing literature. The mountain run, which has turned the eyes of the running community from all over the world, to Erciyes will be run on 6-1 July 2. Athletes will have a unique running experience in the magnificent atmosphere of Mount Erciyes.
Erciyes Mountain Marathon, which is located in Switzerland and is included in the ITRA calendar, the governing body of international mountain running, stands out as one of the most important running competitions of our country. The races, in which important athletes from different countries of the world and from Turkey will participate, will be held for 2 days in 64 different stages as 45K, 25K, 12K, 5K and Vertical Kilometer VK.
The Vertical Kilometer (VK) race, which is a very special category, is the highest vertical run in Europe. Athletes will start from 1000 meters at Hisarcık Kapı and reach the finish at an altitude of 2.350 meters at the upper station of the Ottoman facility on this track, which is a 3.360-meter ascent run.
On the 64K Erciyes Ultra Sky Trail, the athletes run 64 degrees around Erciyes Mountain on 360 kilometers of challenging terrain. The 25K Trail Run, on the other hand, consists of a 25-kilometer track and stretches to Hacılar Sarı Göl. In the 12K, the competitors run between Hacılar Kapı and Tekir Kapı, sweating for 12 kilometers.
Athletes will embark on a journey into history on the 45-kilometer-long 45K stage, which is included in the race calendar for the first time. Starting from the ancient city of Gereme, one of the mystical cities of Byzantium and located at the foot of Erciyes, the competitors will run in history and nature.
In these races, the athletes will fight fiercely in Erciyes to score the international category points. Amateur, professional and athletes who want to test themselves from Kayseri and all over Turkey will participate in the magnificent marathon in Erciyes.

Athletes from many countries both compete in Erciyes and carry our brand value to the global arena. As of July, professional football and cycling teams will come to Erciyes to make high-altitude camps and participate in competitions. The coming years will witness that Erciyes, as a world brand, is a center in demand by professionals from all sports branches.”
