TCDD Transportation General Directorate has increased the capacity of mainline and regional trains by adding wagons, while adding additional high-speed trains to meet the increasing passenger demand due to the Eid al-Adha.

Due to the Feast of Sacrifice, 51 thousand 638 Person Capacity Increase in Trains Was Made

Accordingly, a total of 6 wagons were added to the main line and regional trains during the 15-day period covering 10-640 July, increasing the capacity by 39 seats.

Capacity increases were made in İzmir Mavi, 4 Eylül Mavi, Doğu, Pamukkale, Konya Mavi, Güney/Van Lake, Aegean, Erciyes, Toros, Fırat, Ankara and Ada express lines.

In addition, Uzunkopru-Halkalı, Kapikule-Halkalı Capacity increase was also made in regional trains.

Capacity increased by 11 thousand 838 people with additional services in High Speed ​​​​Trains

TCDD Tasimacilik made additional flights on high-speed trains, where passenger demand increased due to the holiday.

Accordingly, the passenger capacity of YHTs operating on the Ankara-Istanbul-Ankara route on 7-18 July was increased by 7 in total. In the same period, a total of 8 passenger capacity increase was achieved in YHTs operating on the Konya-Istanbul-Konya route. In this way, the total passenger capacity increase on the Ankara-Istanbul and Konya-Istanbul lines was 4 thousand 830.

Thus, while an additional capacity increase was made for a total of 51 thousand 638 people, tickets were put on sale as of June 23.
