Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that student applications for summer support and training courses and summer schools will be received on June 15-18.

A guide has been prepared for the 2021-2022 academic year summer term Support and Training Courses and summer schools and the 2022-2023 academic year Support and Training Courses. Summer School Support and Training Courses, which are planned to be opened according to the guide, and the summer schools application process will be completed between 6-23 June through the e-course module.

Accordingly, receiving the course center applications and approving them by the provincial/district national education directorates. On 6-10 June; receiving teacher applications, approval of paid teacher applications by provincial/district national education directorates, on 11-14 June; Student applications will be made between 15-18 June.

Support and training courses to be opened in the summer term

In his statement on the subject, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that within the scope of the support and training courses to be opened in the summer term, courses in Turkish, primary school mathematics, science, TR Revolution history and Kemalism, religious culture and foreign language courses will be opened for 8th grade students.

Minister Özer said that for 12 and graduate students, courses will be opened in the following courses: "Turkish language and literature, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, TR Revolution history and Kemalism, religious culture and ethics, foreign language, philosophy, psychology, sociology, logic.”

Noting that the support and training courses will be opened between 4 July and 28 August in the summer term, Özer said, “Teachers and students will be able to apply and attend the summer term Support and Training Courses in the school types suitable for their level in the province they want during the summer term.” he said.

“Summer schools are for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades at the basic education level; At the secondary education level, it will be one of the mathematics and English lessons for the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades.

Our students will be able to apply for support and training courses and summer schools between 15-18 June through the e-course module.

The courses to be opened within the scope of the summer school are 4th grade, 5-6. Grade (single group), 7-8. grade (single group), 9-10. Grade (single group) 11-12. will be created in class levels created as a class (single group).

Within the scope of the 'Mathematics Mobilization', which we started with the aim of strengthening the mathematical literacy of students, making them love mathematics and making it associated with daily life skills, from the mathematics course; In line with the activity-based framework programs to be prepared from the English course in order to develop speaking and effective communication skills in foreign language teaching, summer schools will be implemented for 12 hours a week, a total of 48 hours.

Summer schools will be opened between 4 July and 28 August between the dates determined by the school administrations according to the density of teacher and student applications. Teachers and students will be able to attend summer schools in the city they want during the summer term, in school types suitable for their level. The teachers assigned to the summer schools will be given a 28-day training through IPA between 30-2 June.”
