In this context; In its current form, we are making improvements and new arrangements on the 8,3 kilometer line, which is idle between Sirkeci and Kazlıçeşme. In this new concept, the route will be both a railway and walking track. So, we are talking about an environmentally friendly railway line. In project scope; 7,3 kilometers of pedestrian path, 6,3 kilometers of bicycle path, 10 thousand 120 square meters of square and recreation area, 74 thousand square meters of new green area, 6 thousand square meters of closed social and cultural space, 9 pedestrian underpasses, 3 pedestrian overpasses, There are 1 highway overpass, 12 highway underpasses and 2 pedestrian overpasses to be transported. With our Kazlıçeşme-Sirkeci Rail System and Pedestrian Focused New Generation Project, besides providing a fast, comfortable, environmentally friendly and hybrid transportation opportunity to the people of Istanbul; Along with bicycle and scooter usage areas, there are also sports and excursion areas. How happy are we; We are building another ecological and economic transportation line with new generation content in socio-cultural terms and bringing it to our nation. We have completed the disassembly of 20 thousand 2021 meters of rail, 42 catenary poles and 570 kilometers of energy wire in the project works that we launched at Sirkeci Station on September 410, 24. We have finished the preparations for the installation of the new system. With the completion of the project, in which we have progressed by 43 percent, one side of the railway line will be used by trains in the 215 thousand square meter working area. The other aspect will consist of pedestrian walking, resting and recreation areas. Thus, we ensure that 57 percent of the area previously used only for the railway is green space open to pedestrian use. We are establishing a transportation, resting and social area in the middle of Istanbul, the world's favorite city. With this project, we increase the comfort of life of all our citizens residing on the route, as well as those using the line.”
