On the occasion of the 19rd Anniversary of the 103 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, its members are university students. EGİAD Aegean Young Businessmen Association President Alp Avni Yelkenbiçer, who came together with the Youth Commission, said, “We are in a period where everyone is looking for their future and everyone is looking for their story. We are in a process where especially young people take more initiative, and as leaders of the future, they should have a say in the future. Youngsters Evaluate the Future, the World and Turkey Better”.

He gave sincere answers in the event moderated by the questions of Ezgi Çetin, President of the Youth Commission. EGİAD Alp Avni Yelkenbiçer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, made various suggestions to the younger generation. Listening to the feelings and thoughts of the young people about Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and May 19 at the event held at the Association Center, Yelkenbiçer said, “I sincerely thank all the young people. Young people are the most important wealth, power and hope of a country because they have a say in our future. The most important factor in the elevation of a nation is its youth. Youth is the most important building block of society. The equipment, education and training of the youth, which constitutes a large part of the social life, is of great importance for the peace of the society. Young people evaluate the future, the world and Turkey better, they are highly equipped. They know very well the struggle of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk for his own country.

“Atatürk Commemoration, Youth and Sports Day; Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's landing in Samsun on 19 May 1919. This is actually the beginning of a national liberation war. Therefore, it is the beginning of the struggle.” Yelkenbiçer, reminding that young people in NGOs are more inclined to teamwork, said, “Being in NGOs strengthens you. The War of Independence was also a team effort. Unfortunately, the concept of GIAD, the Young Business People's Association in the world, does not exist, but we have it in our country and I find it very valuable. Young people now represent different generations belonging to a closer time period; EGİAD is working on and preparing for these generations. We are in a period where everyone is looking for their future and everyone is looking for their story. You should take part in NGOs and shape your future. Especially young people need to take more initiative and have a say in the future as leaders of the future. We are with the youth who offer solutions instead of complaining, continue their activities as social entrepreneurs, produce solutions when they see problems, come together with the business world more often, care about green and digital transformation, question and research. We are proud of that,” he said.
