How to Become a Coach

In order to become a coach, it is necessary to attend the trainer training program organized by the Youth and Sports Directorate. In order to participate in the relevant exam, it is necessary to fulfill the following conditions;

• To be at least high school graduate,
• Not have a mental or physical disability,
• Not having been penalized,
• To be at the age limit determined by the sports branch to which he/she will apply for coaching.

If the number of people applying for coaching training is high, priority is given to those who have the following qualifications;

• Individuals who document their foreign language knowledge,
• Persons who have graduated from the relevant departments of universities or colleges,
• national athletes,
• Persons who have worked as a licensed athlete for 5 years

It is expected that the leadership direction of the coach, who is responsible for providing the most practical conditions possible in order to improve the physical and psychological fitness of the athlete and to maximize his performance, is strong.
