Bursa City Council President Şevket Orhan, who gave information about the festival, said that this year, besides 7 guest countries, 30 artists from 80 cities in 112 art branches will be hosted. Orhan said, “We are holding our festival within the scope of 2022 Turkish World Capital of Culture events. “Our guests from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary and artists from all over our country will meet in Bursa once again. 86 stands will be set up in the fairground for the festival. As part of the festival, there will also be Karagöz, puppet plays and sword and shield shows. 'Wooden Toy Making', 'Marbling', 'Miniature', 'Tile', 'Copperwork', 'Needle Lace', 'Traditional Turkish Archery' and 'Kırkyama' etc. More than 80 works in 2 different art branches will meet with art lovers. The Ministry of Culture also supports our festival. It was ensured that 42 artists registered in the ministry list took part in our festival. We are waiting for all Bursa residents to this festival between 11-15 May”.
